Berlin, Nov. 8--American automobile firms prepared to withdraw entirely from the German field today following the collapse of separate negotiations with the government.
All proposals seeking to mitigate the economic ministry's ruling that American can cars can be imported into Germany on a basis by which the Americans would have to buy German goods worth ten times the value of the imported cars were turned down.
