Meeting Scheduled in P.B.H. To Back Karlsruhe Prisoners

Undergraduates to Take Measures to Supply Good Prison Quarters

To formulate a plan for the release of the Karlsruhe prisoners and to take measures to provide decent prison conditions for the Hansfstaengl demonstrators, a meeting has been organized for Thursday evening at 7.45 o'clock in Phillips Brooks House. Several faculty members have agreed to be present at that time.

The gathering will be addressed by Aaron Warner, International Labor Defense Attorney for the Karlsruhe prisoners. Their case has been appealed and is scheduled to be brought up for retrial this morning in the Suffolk Superior Court at Pemberton Square.

This meeting is another expression of indignation by a group of undergraduates who consider the treatment of the Karlsruhe and Hanfstaengl prisoners unfair. Last Monday two delegations made an unsuccessful visit to District Attorney Foley to ask him to drop charges against the Karlsruhe demonstrators.
