New Orleans, Nov. 18 While Sensior Hucy P. Long debated in Baton Rouge today whether to "go to the woods" for a rest or not, New Orleans business men spent a gloomy Sunday pondering the full significance of Louisiana's 44 new laws.
The government yesterday withdrew another PWA allotment of $240,000 which was to have been used in constructing a new and modern French market. Government officials said they wished to study the new laws more fully.
This was the second allotment withdrawn in two days, and caused quite a bit of consternation in the city. Friday the government held up a loan of $2,500,000 in PWA funds.
