Led by Gaspar G. Bacon '08, candidate for Governor, the members of the Republican state ticket will address undergraduates and Cambridge residents at eight o'clock this evening in the Rindge Technical High School on Broadway Street near the Fogg Art Museum. Since this is the combination of the Harvard-Radcliffe and Practical Politics Committee rallies, it is expected to be one of the largest in the Cambridge campaign.
In addition to Mr. Bacon, the other speakers include: Robert M. Washburn '90, candidate for United States Senator; John W. Haigis, candidate for Lieutenant- Governor; Oscar U. Dionne, candidate for State Treasurer; and Joseph E. Warner '05, candidate for District Attorney. Robert T. Bushnell '18 will preside.
About twenty-five members of the Practical Politics Committee under the leadership of Robert Grinnell '36 have been active in organizing the rally and will serve as ushers.
