A display of the writings of Judge Robert Grant '73, a former member of the Board of Overseers, is on exhibition in the Treasure Room of the College Library this week. The display, which includes several original manuscripts, is in honor of Judge Grant's 82nd birthday, occurring today.

The writings run from his first book, "The Little Tin God on Wheels," 1879, to his last. "The Dark Horse," published in 1931. The original manuscripts on display are "The Chippendales," "The Confessions of a Frivolous Girl," and "The Art of Living."

Judge Grant was an Overseer of the College from 1895 to 1821, and was president of the Board from 1917 to 1921. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and a member of the American Academy of Arts and Letters.

Much of his writing involves problems of marriage and divorce, and he considers these problems in the legal as well a the literary field.
