Undernourished children will be given two weeks at camp by means of funds which up to this year have been used for the annual Phillips Brooks House dinner, according to E. S. Amazeen '31, graduate secretary of the House. Well over $130 was spent last year for the banquet, a sum which will pay two weeks' stay in camp for about 15 Boston children.
This decision, which sets no precedent for the cancellation of the annual dinner, is in line with the policy of the Cabinet during the last two years. The Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners have been abolished and the money used for Thanksgiving Day baskets and clothing and supplies at Christmas time.
