SMOOTH VARSITY TEN DOWNS STRONG BRUIN LACROSSE MEN

Tucker Leads Crimson Attack To Polish Off Brown Outfit 8-2

With its running attack functioning smoothly, the Varsity lacrosse team completely outclassed the Brown stickmen 8-2, on the field behind the Business School Saturday afternoon. The Jayvee team was downed 5-3 by Andover.

The Brown Bear threatened only in the first period, when, after two Harvard tallies, Merriam scored once. Four goals by W. I. Tucker '33 in the third frame took the Crimson out of danger, while four more in the final period left no question as to the outcome. This makes Harvard's third straight victory on its home field.
