In the inter-House swimming meets held yesterday, Leverett bowed to Kirkland and Phillips Brooks was victorious over Winthrop. Both encounters were extremely close, Kirkland having the edge over Leverett by a 31 to 30 score, and Winthrop, although tying Brooks 31 to 31, losing by virtue of having only three first places to Brooks' four. A new House record was set in the 50 yard backstroke, when Frank W. Vincent '36 of Winthrop covered the distance in 32 3-5 seconds.
