Six members of the Harvard Debating Council have been chosen for the debate against Princeton on Monday evening, November 27, according to an announcement made yesterday by Asa E. Phillips, Jr. '34, president of the Council. At that time, the Harvard representatives will travel to Meriden, Conn., for the first debate of the year. The subject is: Resolved: That the disadvantages of the National Recovery Act outweigh its advantages.

This debate is being sponsored by all the Harvard Clubs and all the Princeton Clubs of Connecticut, and will be held in the Civic Center at Meriden. It is estimated that an audience of at least 1000 persons will be present to hear the speakers. Prior to the meet, a dinner will be held, attended by the Harvard and Princeton teams, their respective coaches, and the officials of the Harvard and Princeton Clubs of Connecticut.

In addition to Edmund M. Rowe '27, the coach, the following Harvard men will go to Connecticut: Julian S. Bach, Jr. '36; Victor H. Kramer '35; George Gore '34; Morris J. Litwack '34; Clement L. Harriss '34; and Joseph R. Lourie 1L.

Interest in the debate at Princeton is so great that arrangements have been made to send a cheering section along with the team. Although Harvard has made no plans of a similar nature, it is known that Yale intends to send a body of students to support the Harvard debaters
