LOWELL HOUSE EXHIBITS "CHRONICLE" OF 1932-33

Year Book of House Activities To Be On Display in Library--Published by Holger B. Jansonn '33

The Lowell House "Chronicle," a year book published in 1932-33 by Holger B. Jansonn '33, will soon be on exhibition in the House library. This book is the first of its kinds in the University, and is unique for that reason.

"The Chronicle," of which there is only one copy, contains 109 typewritten pages, and is bound in the House colors of blue and silver. It contains accounts of House sports, a story about the birthday party given to President Lowell, reviews of the dances, records of the various House organizations, notably the Music Society, photographs of the House, and cartoons drawn by John M. Murray '33.

Among the most interesting articles is that on the construction of the House, written by John R. Fetcher '34, and containing many views of the various stages in the progress of the work.

"The Chronicle" will be published again this year, with James W. Tower '35 taking over the duties of editor. Tower hopes to obtain many articles written by various House members, and in this way, increase the size of the book.
