Playing the first in a series of three scrimmages, the Varsity soccer team will meet a team from the Graduate School, this afternoon at 3 o'clock, on the Business School field. Five of the players on the Graduate team graduated from Harvard, while one comes from a European University.
Holding the Varsity soccer team scoreless until the last quarter, the Freshman team was finally defeated, 4-0, yesterday afternoon on the Business School field. Stork starred for the Varsity, scoring three of the goals.
In a game featured by excellent pass- ing, the New Bedford Vocational School soccer team defeated the Junior Varsity team 2-0, on the Business School field yesterday afternoon. The goals were scored in the first and second periods; during the last half, the Jayvees tightened up, and threatened their opponent's goal, but lacked the punch to score.
