POSSIBLE PROGRAM OF H.A.A. FOR REST OF COLLEGE YEAR

Four possible programs for the balance of the college year were considered by W. J. Bingham '16, director of Athletics, in his study of the problems confronting the Athletic Association. They were as follows:

1. Elimination of all Freshman and Junior Varsity schedules, except those contests with Yale. By this scheme a saving of $10,000 would have been effected and approximately 100 contests would have been cancelled.

2. Elimination of all minor sport schedules, except those contests with Yale. This would have saved $12-900, and required the cancellation of 125 contests.

3. Elimination of all trips for intercollegiate teams, except those to Yale. This plan would have saved $2,350 and involved the cancellation of 37 contests.

4. The continuation of the planned program with economies effected wherever they would least harm the undergraduates. This plan was adopted.
