SEVERAL CHANGES IN CURRENT ISSUE OF FRESHMAN RED BOOK

Publication Is Dedicated to the Yard, As "John Harvard" Appears

Numerous innovations have been made in the 1935 Freshman Red Book, which will be circulated today, in conjunction with the Freshman Jubilee. The most notable of these is the first section of the book, which is devoted to a history of the College Yard.

The book is dedicated to "That Oldest, Noblest, Richest of Harvard Institutions, the Yard", and 16 pages of it are given over to articles and old engravings showing its growth. Another interesting feature of the publication is the appearance, in nearly every drawing, of a bewhiskered gentleman who, it was learned from the editors, is none other than "John Harvard--modern version--reincarnated by the class of 1935."
