Overcoming an eight tally lead gained in the first inning, with a smashing four run rally in the final chapter, the second year team defeated the third year veterans, 17-16, in the first annual Harvard Law Review combat yesterday afternoon on Cambridge Commons.

S. H. Levy 3L, while making nine miscues in the field, starred at the bat with a home run with bases loaded. The oldster's pitchers, while long upheld by sparkling work in the field, finally succumbed to a barrage of circuit clouts in the last few innings, which knocked F. A. Watson 3L, the former Redlands college hurler, far out of the box.

The victory of the younger men was attributed to a more intelligent grasping of the principles of base running. Although slightly bewildered during the early innings, the field workers tightened up in the final five rounds and presented an air-tight defense which nipped in the bud most of the opposing team's efforts to add to their lead.
