In its first appearance at Harvard for almost two years, the London String Quartet will give a public concert in Sanders Theatre. It will be assisted by a chamber orchestra composed of members of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Hugo Kortschak. Tickets are obtainable at the Music Building from 9 to 12 o'clock.
The quartet, which is brought here through the courtesy of the Library of Congress, Elizabeth Sprague Coolidge Foundation, consists of the following players: John Pennington, first violin; Thomas W. Petre, second violin; William Primrose, violoncello; and C. Warwick Evans, viola.
