The first formal Kirkland House dance will be held on Friday, April 22, if house members show their interest in the project before April 15 by subscribing for tickets admitting a minimum of 60 couples. According to A. H. Parker, Jr. '32, chairman of the dance committee, tickets for the admission of the equivalent of 30 couples have been sold, and the quota is expected to be reached before Friday. It has not yet been decided what orchestra is to be employed, but the dance is scheduled to last from 10 until 2 o'clock, and will take place in the House common room.
A special dinner is to be provided in the dining room, but this dinner can be served in students' rooms to parties of six or more by special arrangement with the caterers.
