Facing in Pennsylvania the strongest competitor it has encountered thus far, the undefeated University swimming team will enter its last home meet at 7 o'clock. The hour has been advanced in order not to conflict with the hockey game at 8.30 o'clock.
Going into many of its meets only a slight favorite, the Crimson mermen have in every case emerged victorious by decisive margins. Despite defeats by Yale, Navy, and Princeton, the Pennsylvania team is one of the strongest in recent years and seems assured of wins in nearly half the events.
B. S. Wood '33 is counted on to give Harvard five points in the 220. With Stinson and Grandy practically assured of firsts for Penn in the 50 and dive respectively, and with little prospect of Crimson victories in some of the other events, the task of outdistancing Stinson in the 100 is likely also to fall to the Harvard leader.
The relay team is distinctly favored to garner a final eight points for the Crimson in the dive, and with success in the preceding events those points should prove decisive.
