Music Library Has Been Increased in Last Two Weeks

The music library in Leverett House has been considerably increased during the past two weeks, through the efforts of K. B. Murdock '16, Master of the House, and Allan Evans '24, Senior Tutor.

An electric victrola has been installed in a large furnished room in the D entry, and House members who desire to do so may obtain the key to the room at the McKinlock Hall library desk. Slips must be signed before records can be taken from the library for use either in the music room or in students' own rooms. It is planned to have the library of scores coincide as closely as possible with the collection of records so that music lovers may follow the notes with their eyes as well as their ears. The latest additions from the special fund set aside by the House for this purpose are: Beethoven, Schumann, Bach, Brahms, deFalla, Stravinsky, Debussy's "Pelleas and Melisande," Mendelssohn, Rimsky-Korsakoff, and Wagner's "Parsifal," "Die Meistersinger" and "Tristan and Isolde."
