H.A.A. NEWS DISCUSSES SHIFT TO METRIC SYSTEM IN TRACK

In the Winter Sports Number of the H.A.A. News an editorial appears mildly advocating the adoption of the metric system for track and field athletics. Since Olympic distances are measured in meters, and all Continental countries use the metric system, with little expense, English speaking countries could change their standard.
