ABANDON PLAN OF DECEMBER CHARITY GAME IN STADIUM

City Officials Decide Not To Hold Contest Scheduled

Plans for a charity football game in the Harvard Stadium this fall have been definitely abandoned, it was announced today by W. G. Ochre '11, representative of Mayor Curley, and F. V. McMenimen, Cambridge City Councillor, who have been endeavoring to line up two teams to play a contest for the benefit of Cambridge and Boston unemployed.

The reason assigned by O'Hare for abandoning the project was that probably not enough people would attend the game to compensate for the effort involved, due to the lateness of the season. The game was scheduled for Saturday, December 10.
