Only two students not members of the committee sponsoring the protest meeting against the early closing of the College Library turned up by the scheduled time at 8 o'clock Friday night, so it was decided to postpone the meeting until the same time tomorrow night in Phillips Brooks House.
Members of the committee expected a larger attendance and when asked for explanations said that the students of the University were probably interested in going to New Haven for the Yale game.
Instead of holding the meeting Friday night, members of the committee had a discussion with R. P. Blake, professor of History and director of the library, who had been invited to the meeting to give the University's position in regard to the closing of the library. Professor Blake reiterated President Lowell's invitation to all men who are inconvenienced by the Library hours to discuss the matter with them.
The meeting was under the auspices of the Liberal Club.
