Dunster House fought its way into the lead in League A squash yesterday afternoon by defeating Eliot, 3 to 2, while Winthrop, which was tied for the lead, dropped back to fourth place. Lowell climbed to second place by virtue of its 4 to 1 victory over Winthrop and Adams pulled itself out of the cellar by winning from Leverett, 3 to 2, while Kirkland was idle.

In League B, Dunster relinquished its hold on top place although winning from Eliot, 3 to 2, because Kirkland did not play and consequently leads the league. Lowell went into second place by blanking the Winthrop racquet-wielders, and Adams came up into fifth place by defeating Leverett, 3 to 2.

In League C squash today Adams meets Leverett at the Adams courts, Dunster plays Eliot at the Dunster courts, and Winthrop meets Lowell at the Winthrop courts. There are also three House basketball games scheduled for this afternoon, between Leverett and Adams, Eliot and Dunster, and Winthrop and Lowell, to be played at 2.15, 2.30, and 3.15 o'clock, respectively.
