Many persons now considering a career in education are confused and uncertain about preparation for and entrance into a specific field and would therefore welcome an opportunity to confer with a specialist in a field they have been considering. To meet this need, the Graduate School of Education has arranged a series of individual conferences to enable prospective students of education to interview the several members of the Faculty about preparation for the various careers in this general field.
Persons interested are cordially invited to confer with one or more of the members of the Faculty according to the following schedule:
All conferences will be held in Lawrence Hall on Kirkland Street. Associate Professor F. G. Nichols will consult men interested in vocational and commercial education in Room 11 on May 25 from 3 to 4.30 o'clock, on May 26 from 2 to 3.30 o'clock, and on May 27 from 2 to 3.30 o'clock.
Associate Professor Ralph Beatley '13 will consult men interested in the teaching of mathematics in Room 19 on May 27 from 11 to 1 o'clock, and on May 28 from 2 to 4 o'clock.
Associate Professor C. S. Thomas will consult men interested in the teaching of English in Room 4 on May 25, 26, and 28 from 3 to 4.30 o'clock.
H. E. Wilson will consult men interested in the teaching of social sciences in Room 4 on May 26 and 28 from 10 to 12 o'clock and 2 to 4 o'clock.
Associate Professor Bancroft Beatley '15 wil consult men interested in secondary school administration in Room 16 on May 25 and 27 from 3 to 5 o'clock.
Associate Professor F. T. Spaulding '16 will consult men interested in secondary education in Room 16 on May 25 from 10 to 11 o'clock, and on May 26 and 27 from 3 to 4 o'clock.
Associate Professor E. A. Lincoln '13 will consult men interested in educational measurement and psychology in Palfrey House on May 25 and 27 from 10 to 12 o'clock and 2 to 4 o'clock.
Asistant Professor L. L. Dudley '21 will consult men interested in school administration in Room 13 on May 25, 26, and 27 from 10 to 12 o'clock.
Associate Professor J. M. Brewer will consult men interested in vocational guidance in Room 23 on June 3, 4, and 5 from 2 to 4 o'clock.
