Continued injuries in the three eights which now make up the University squad still frustrate any attempt to get the Harvard oarsmen into pre-vacation condition. Although R. H. Hallowell '33 and A. N. Webster '31, who have been on the sick list until now, have returned to the seatings chosen for them at the beginning of practice, the absence of C. J. Cassedy '33, one of the three strokes, continues to upset the organization of the squad.
Cassedy, who was one of the four strokes chosen to select the boats which originally made up the squad, is recovering from a sprained ankle. W. B. Bacon '33 is taking his place, while F. F. Colloredo-Mannsfeld '32 is substituting for Bacon at the stroke position.
For the first time since the establishment of divisional examinations for the Senior Class, a Senior Class crew has been added to the fleet of class boats now working out under the supervision of E. J. Brown '96. Two Junior boats have also been organized, while a Sophomore eight and a crew of unlisted men bring the total of class eights up to five.
