FRESHMEN ELECT NAZRO PRESIDENT OF CLASS OF 1934

Only 471 Ballots Returned, Compared With 683 Last Year--All Contests Were Hotly Contested

Thomas Wibird Nazro '34 of New York City has been elected president of the Class of 1934, according to an announcement made yesterday by W. B. Wood, Jr. '32, chairman of Freshman affairs. The office of vice-president went to John Herbert Dean '34 of Cohasset, and Bertram Gordon Waters, Jr. '34 of Brookline was chosen secretary-treasurer.

Only 471 votes were cast in the election in contrast to the 683 balloted last year when the preferential system was used.

All of the three men elected played on the Freshman football team last autumn. Nazro spent one year at Exeter after attending Noble and Greenough School for some time. At Exeter he starred as an oarsman.
