THREE FRESHMEN CHOSEN TO TAKE PART IN EXETER DEBATE

First-year Men to Discuss College in February 25 Meeting

As a result of tryouts held in Gore Hall last night, M. A. Hoffman '34, A. E. Phillips '34, and J. R. Yungblut '34 were selected to represent the Freshman Class in a debate against Phillips Exeter Academy, scheduled for Wednesday evening, February 25, at Exeter. Oscar Davis '34 and G. G. Johnson '34 were chosen alternates.

The subject of the debate is: Resolved, That it is worth while for a student to spend four years at an average American college. Harvard will uphold the affirmative. Phillips, one of those selected for the team, was captain of the Exeter debaters who defeated the Harvard Freshmen last year.
