Out of the Hanover hills came the Indians yesterday to scalp a Crimson quintet to the tune of 30 to 13. The invading Dartmouth basketball team fairly took the Harvard hoopsters by surprise to run up the score early in the game, getting 16 points before the Crimson was able to recover itself sufficiently to score.

The Green got the jump by making seven baskets before the game was five minutes old, and then coasting along to lead at the half, 19 to 2. Almost immediately it looked as though Harvard were going to be completely smothered by the Dartmouth passing attack, which functioned almost to perfection against the smaller Crimson men. After the intermission, however the Crimson defence improved materially and the Green hoopsters were held to 11 points in the second half, the same number that Harvard scored.

Dartmouth used two teams, both of which found little trouble in keeping the ball moving, especially during the first half.

The Crimson hoopsters played well, but were clearly outclassed by the Green five, which ought to end its season well up among the Eastern teams.
