SOCCER PLAYERS PLAY SECOND GAME OF SEASON TODAY

Progress Made by Harvard Squad After Successful Season Opener Against Bridgewater Normal

This afternoon at 3 o'clock on the soccer field behind the Business School the University soccer team will take on a team composed of men in the graduate school in a tussle to teat the strength of the Harvard forces more thoroughly than did the players of Bridgewater Normal School, which the University booters subdued 4 to 2 in the opening game of the season.

Today's clash, of little importance as far as the team schedule goes, is attracting interest due to the presence on both teams of several potent players of past and present. At goal for the graduate school men will be Faude, who as guardian of the cage for Harvard was listed in All-American teams last year and the year before. Other men of experience on the graduate school club include Johnson, former captain of the Swarthmore team, Baker, Harvard Jayvee mentor, Coach Danielian of the 1935 team, and Vogel of the 1930 Harvard season.

Team Improved

The home forces today, although by no means in any kind of advanced season form, have shown improvement since the season opener last week, and Coach Carr is pointing his team for the next game on the schedule, with Army on October 17 at West Point.
