BOSTON DEBS TAKE PART IN CERCLE FRANCAIS PLAY

PRESENTATION IN DECEMBER AT ELIZABETH PEABODY THEATRE

Nine Boston debutantes and as many undergraduates will take parts in "L'Amour Veille," a play for which rehearsals have already started, to be given by Cercle Francais on Thursday and Friday, December 10 and 11, at the Elizabeth Peabody Theatre, Charles Street, Boston.

The play which is a comedy in four acts, was written by deFlers and deCaillevet, a pair of French comedy playwrights, and was crowned by the French Academy. The coaching and directing of the play will be done by W. B. Cowan, Jr. '28, who produced the Cercle play last year.

The feminine roles that have already been settled on will be taken by the Misses Camilla Brown, Beatrice Clough, Beatrice deMenocal, Pauline Shaw, Nancy deVerdi, Lorraine Warner, and three more who have not been selected.

The rest of the cast consisting of upperclassmen and one Freshman is as follows: Northrup Beach '34, V. E. Blacque '34, J. B. Jackson '32, J. D. Kernan '34, W. A. C. Miller III '32, J. S. Plaut '33, O. W. Robbins '34, F. F. Silver '34, R. C. Sullivan '35.

The officers of the Cercle Francais are Jackson, president; L. F. Perry '32, vice-president; Gilbert Kerlin '33, treasurer; S. W. Burchard '32, manager of the production.
