TEAM A DRILLS ON FUNDAMENTALS IN DUMMY SCRIMMAGE

Relieves Moushegian at Left End in Practice--Hardy on Sidelines for the Day

With a chill wind giving a genuine atmosphere of football weather, the Harvard football squad placed contact work in the background for an afternoon yesterday as Coach Casey put his eleven through a serious drill on fundamentals, with several new plays being carefully developed. Team A worked out in a dummy scrimmage, no defense being used.

After the usual blocking and tackling drills the new plays were outlined by the coaches as the entire squad looked on. Devens and Trafford, in ineligible jerseys, were to be seen among the seconds. The dummy scrimmage consisted in plays all run from the 30-yard line, the session being without any highlights, but serving rather as a comprehensive drill on assignments.

Record ran signals on Team A, relieving Moushegian at the left end position, and while it is not known whether or not the heavy ends will start on Saturday, at least Record will be in shape for the tussle. Hardy, regular left tackle, watched the practice in a white shirt, his place in the line being filled by Faxon. This afternoon's practice will find the Junior lineman back at his regular post. Francisco, right end of the heavy combination, watched the practice today, Casey having given him a lay-off for the afternoon due to a bump received Saturday.

The Team A lineup: Moushegian, Record, l.e.; Faxon, l.t.; Esterly, l.g.; Hallowell, c.; Myerson, r.g.; Kopans, r.t.; Hageman, r.e.; Wood, q.b.; Shereschewsky, l.h.b.; Crickard, Mays, r.h.b.; White, f.b.

The B team lineup: Werner, l.e.; Bancroft, l.t.; Ginman, l.g.; Cunningham, c.; Talbot, r.g.; Kales, r.t.; Cassedy, r.e.; Wells, q.b.; Peter, l.h.b.; Dean, r.h.b.; Nevin, f.b.
