The Bryce Club by a close decision won the finals of the Ames Competition Saturday night in the court-room of Langdell Hall in the Law School.
H. C. Rose 3L and D. W. Raudebusch 3L, both Princeton graduates, composed the team of the Bryce Club, and opposed A. M. Riggs 3L and G. B. Habberton, who represented the Edward Warren Club.
The very complicated question that was argued by the members of the two clubs concerned the rights of the "Massachusetts Trust Organization", a hypothetical company similar to the Old Standard Oil Company. The Coram that judged the trial consisted of the Honorable Frank J. Dunn, chief justice of the Supreme Court of Illinois, as presiding judge, the Honorable Julian W. Mack, United States Circuit Judge, and the Honorable William W. Harrington, associate justice of the Supreme Court of Delaware as associate judges.
