A. W. Dakin 2G.B. was elected chairman of the Student Editorial Board of the Harvard Business Review at a meeting held last night at the Business School Faculty Club. Other new officers are: J.S. Oettinger 2G.B. and David Graham 2G.B., executive committee; and F. H. Boland Jr. 2G.B., secretary-treasurer. The first fifteen second-year Business School students, who ranked on the honor list at the final examinations at the end of their first year, officially became members of the editorial board last night. They are: David Graham, J. H. Kolseth, V. C. Weinkauf, W. H. Ware, J. R. Kumin, W. B. Persons, R. S. Chavin, C. R. Barrow, F. H. Boland Jr., W. L. Webb, M. S. Berman, R. B. Hough Jr., Gabriel Caplan, F. L. Connard, and H. S. Rudd.
The magazine is edited under the direction of the Faculty of the Graduate School of Business Administration of Harvard University. Directors carried over from last year are: H. R. Tosdal '16, faculty editor; C. F. Taeusch '20, managing editor; faculty editorial board, J. G. Callan, W. J. Cunningham '21, A. S. Dewing '02, R. L. Masson '22, E. C. Robbins, and E. P. Learned.
At the meeting last night Dean Wallace B. Donham of the Business School and Professor M. T. Copeland of the Department of Business Policy spoke. The first part of the meeting was devoted to organization and elections and at the last part dinner was served.
Student editors of the magazine are required to contribute two articles for publication as well as assist in making the periodical. Contributors are outside business men, professors and instructors of business administration, and students who have done research work in some particular business field.
