BUCKLEY MOVES UP TO SECOND EIGHT IN CREW SHAKEUP

Swaps Places With Brownell, is Now Pace-Setter of Third Boat--Three Possible Races This Week

Seating changes in the Jayvee and third University boats, as announced last night by Coach Whiteside, resulted in the shifting of four oarsmen. T. C. T. Buckley '32, who has been rowing at number seven in the third crew, has been promoted to number three in the Jayvee boat, replacing E. L. Millard, Jr. '31, who goes to Buckley's old place in the third crew.

The two other changes in the third boat involved M. R. Brownell, Jr. '30 and R. I. McKesson '31, who swapped seats with the result that McKesson is now stroking the third string oarsmen and Brownell is at number two.

Three Races This Week

The work this week, according to Coach Whiteside, will consist mainly of long conditioning rows. Weather conditions permitting he hopes to have three races over the mile and three quarters course in the Basin during the week.

The Harvard University fleet will have two weeks in which to prepare for the four-cornered regatta with Navy, Penn and Tech, which is scheduled for Saturday, May 17, on the Charles. The Crimson lightweights meet next Princeton and Yale, in a triangular affair at Derby on the Housatonic on May 10.
