Guy Vernor Slade '32, of Jamaica Plain, will be director of the University Band, it was announced by F. L. Anderson 1G, retiring director. Although he is returning for more graduate work this fall, Anderson will be unable to give up the required time. Slade has taken up his duties, and will lead the band at the I. C. 4-A. track meet this Saturday.
Leanard Field Hubbard '31, of Taunton, will again be manager, a position which he has held for the last year. The other officers will be Elijah Swift '32, of Burlington, Vermont, treasurer, and Charles Edward Smith '33, of Newton, secretary-librarian.
