DORMITORY TRACK MEET FOR FRESHMEN TODAY

DORMITORY, CLASS BALL TEAMS ALSO PLAY TODAY

This afternoon at 2.30 o'clock on Soldiers Field the annual interdormitory track meet will take place with 15 events scheduled. All Freshmen are eligible for the meet, regardless of whether or not they live in a dormitory. For the purposes of scoring, men not living in dormitories will be assigned to various dormitory teams. All events will be contested from scratch and medals will be given for first places.

The order of events for this afternoon follows:

2.30 o'clock - 120-yard high hurdles; shotput; hammer throw.

2.40 o'clock - 100-yard dash preliminaries.

2.55 o'clock - mile run.

3 o'clock - discuss javelin.

3.10 o'clock--100-yard dash finals.

3.20 o'clock--440-yard run.

3.30 o'clock--220-yard dash trials; high jump; pole vault; broad jump.

3.45 o'clock--220-yard low hurdles.

3.55 o'clock--2 mile run.

4.10 o'clock--880-yard run.

4.20 o'clock--220-yard dash finals.

Also this afternoon the all-class baseball nine will meet the Rindge team, while a composite Freshman dormitory nine will meet the St. Mark's club. St. Mark's has already had one defeat at the bands of a Harvard nine, since the Freshman players vanquished the Southboro schoolboys by a 10 to 4 margin.

As scheduled by A. W. Samborski '26, director of intramural athletics, there will be a game with Yale for the winning class team on May 24, the day when ten Harvard teams will engage the New Haven aggregations in various sports. The Senior class team will meet today for the first time, since the players have been hitherto involved with divisional examinations. Under the supervision of Rufus Bond, aspirants for the team will meet this afternoon at 3.30 o'clock on the class baseball diamond in preparation for the first game. May 16, to be played with the Sophomores.
