As a result of tryouts recently held D. I. Cooke '31, R. B. Eckles '32, and H. G. Abdian '30 have been chosen to the first three places on the Harvard debating team which tomorrow night will ppose Yale in maintaining the affirmative side of the question: "Resolved, That the United States Senate should ratify the Pan-American Arbitration Treaty without Reservations."

The Crimson representatives, who will speak in the order named, will have as alternates C. P. Elliott '31, J. F. Harding '30, and P. H. Cohen '32, it was announced by E. M. Rowe '27, coach of the team. At a later date the award of the Coolidge Debating Prize of $100 to the man who made the best showing in the tryouts will be made. A gold medal known as the Coolidge Debating Medal will be presented to each member of the University team.

Yale will be represented by R. B. Fulton, R. G. Osterweis, P. W. Hoon, and H. G. Dyke. A second Eli team will meet Princeton Saturday night, at New Haven, in a debate upon the same subject.

The Debating Council plans to hold the match in the Paine Music Hall. It will be open to the public and no admission fee will be charged.
