Second in the series of Pierian Sodality Orchestra concerts, conducted by G. W. Woodworth '24, will be a concert at Milton Academy, 'Milton, on Thursday at 8.15 o'clock. This concert will inaugurate an attempt of the orchestra to make classical music more popular in the secondary school by presenting good musical programs.

The program will include an overture to the "Ode for St. Cecilia's Day" by Handel, arranged for strings and oboe; dances from Bach's "Suite in B Minor", arranged for strings and flute, a suite of dances of Milhaud: variations for string orchestra by Byrd: and three movements from "Symphony 2 in D" by Haydn.

The orchestra in the Milton concert will be represented by 42 members Tickets may be obtained at Thayer 56.

The Society will also present a concert at Braffle Hall on Thursday, February 27, at 8.30 o'clock. After the Sodality program, the hall will be cleared for dancing until 1 o'clock, with music furnished by an orchestra under the direction of F. U. Anderson 1G. conductor of the Harvard Band, and a member of Roy Lamson's "Harvardians." Tickets will be on sale to students after February 15 at Thayer 56.
