While the Freshman soccer team was defeating Exeter,2 to 1, yesterday afternoon at Everett, the Junior University squad, which had just been strengthened by the addition of five former regulars, was badly defeated by Tufts , 5 to 0. After the Freshman game B. B. B. Robinson '34 of Memorial New Jersey was elected captain of the first year team he prepared for Harvard at Exeter.
In the Freshman game, Exeter took an early lead by scoring from directly in front of the Freshman goal. In the third period, however R. M. Gammere Jr. '34 evened the score on a penalty kick and in the final quarter, F.A. Gilbert '34, failed on a pass from L. C. Martin '34 Martin Gummere and Robinson started for the 1954 team.
