Cabinet Officer Since 1916 Will Outline Foreign Methods

On the evening of Thursday, October 30, at 8 o'clock, in the parlor of Phillips Brooks House, Dr. Carl H. Becker, German Minister of Education, will lecture to members of the Graduate School of Education and others who may be interested on "The Outline of the German Educational System."

Dr. Becker's first connection with the Ministry in Education was in 1916, he became State Secretary for Education in 1919, and was appointed German Minister for Learning, Culture and Education in 1921. Dr. Becker has been a leader in the reorganization of German Education since the War.

Desclos to Speak

Announcement will be made later concerning a lecture by Monsieur Auguste V. Desclos, Assistant Director, Office National des Universites et Ecoles Francalses, to be given on the evening of Thursday, December 4 in the parlor of Phillips Brooks House. M. Desclos will speak on "The French Educational System."
