La Societe des Instruments Anciens of Paris, will give a concert in Paine Hall, this evening, at 8.15 o'clock. This concert is given through the generosity of Mrs. F. S. Coolidge.
The organization was founded in 1901 by Henri Casadesus in order to preserve literature and instruments that were growing obsolete. The five instruments to be heard tonight are quinton, played by Marius Casadesus, viole d'amour, played by Henri Casadesus: viole de gambe, played by Mme Lucette Casadesus basse de viole played by Maurice Devilliers and claveein played by Mme Regina Patorni-Casadesus.
Tickets for the concert may be obtained free of charge, by members of the faculty and their families and students of Radcliffe and Harvard, at the Music Building from 9 o'clock until noon this morning.
