Outplaying the Northeastern quintet offensively and defensively, the first year basketball team won its second game of the season by a score of 42 to 34 in the Freshman Gymnasium yesterday afternoon.

The outstanding reason for the victory was the surprisingly poor defense of the Northeasterners. The Harvard quintet did not show a great deal of improvement over their first game with M. I. T. but Coach Wachter remarked that he attributed this to the recent vacation. The game was, nevertheless comparatively fast, and while the shooting was none too accurate the passing was good.

H. G. Reisner Jr. '33 led the Crimson scoring with a total of six goals while Church of the visitors also scored 12 points. A. N. Davison '33 made a good showing, tallying four times during the game.
