ANTHROPOLOGICAL SOCIETY ELECTS TOZZER PRESIDENT

Harvard Professor is Honored by National Body

Professor A. M. Tozzer '00 was elected president of the American Anthropological Association in the twenty-eighth annual meeting of that association, held in Poughkeepsie, New York, during the Christmas recess. Professor Tozzer is chairman of the Department of Anthropology at Harvard at the present time. His work among ancient ruins in Latin America has gained him international renown. During the Mexican border trouble in 1914, Professor Tozzer was under fire at Vera Cruz, where he was conducting research work. He is the holder of three degrees from Harvard University.
