WOMEN VISIT COMPTROLLER TO AID CAUSE OF "GOODIES"

A delegation of women from several Boston societies visited the office of A. L. Endicott '94, Comptroller of the University, yesterday afternoon to protest against what they believed to be unwarranted action on the part of University officials in discharging the scrubwomen of Widener Library.

Upon learning that action had already been taken to place the charwomen in positions around the college buildings, or in jobs similar to the work in the library, the ladies left for home, but not before several Boston newspaper photographers had taken pictures of the group.
