If his doctrine is followed out think of what the country will become. No one will know whether his next door neighbor is what he is thought to be or not. No one will speak to anyone else, unless a proper introduction is made, and unless both parties are on the same social plane.
There seems to be one flaw in Prof. Rogers' argument. Fundamentally his ideas may be right. But not everyone is able to bluff into a situation, and carry out the bluff with the finesse which is proper. If one is able to carry out the "snob doctrine" in a natural manner.
