To the Editor of the CRIMSON:

I have read two articles in the CRIMSON, that Mr. Danguy has resigned his position as Fencing Master at Harvard College. That is not correct; Mr. William J. Bingham, Director of the Athletic Association told me that Dr. Paul H. Means said that after my illness I would not be able to continue my fencing instruction next season. In the CRIMSON dated June the 8th it stated I had been a teacher at Harvard for 8 years, which is a mistake; my first agreement was made Oct. 1st, 1919, which would make it 10 years; I had the honor with my pupils to win the championship three times; the first in 1922, the second 1923, the third 1924. Harvard College never had the opportunity of winning any championships for 26 years.

I sincerely hope my successor will be able to do the same as I have done. J. L. Danguy.   Yours very truly;
