Before a large crowd of spectators, the St. John's College lacrosse team defeated the University team 12 to 2 yesterday on the Business School field. The absence of Captain H. M. Hartnett '30, who received a leg injury in the Dartmouth game, seriously handicapped the Crimson team.

The first half was fairly close, with the Crimson players holding their rivals to a 4 to 1 lead. In the second period, however, the Harvard defense was unable to cope with the fierce attack and machine-like efficiency of their opponents, and St. John's totalled eight more points before the final whistle blew.
