H. D. C. MUSICAL COMPETITION TO BEGIN AFTER VACATION

Orchestra Will Give Specialty Numbers in "Close-Up"

A competition for additional members of the Harvard Dramatic Club Orchestra according to an announcement made yesterday, will begin immediately after vacation. The trials are open to any undergraduate in the University.

The orchestra is to have an important part in the presentation of "Close-Up," the club's spring offering. Besides rendering the musical accompaniment to the dances and songs, it is to give two specialty numbers, overtures before the two acts of the show. In addition, several soloists will be chosen, who will give selections arranged by B. D. Hanighen '30, writer of the score of the show.
