Following a race of the four University 150-pound crews this afternoon over the Henley course on the Charles River Basin, the first and second lightweight crews will be picked by Coach F. R. Sullivan '27 for the first race of the season at Kent School on Wednesday, April 10. After a series of short races this afternoon the Freshman squad will also undergo a rearrangement.
The four 150-pound crews taking part in today's race will be stroked by J. M. Byrne '31, John Fox '31, T. N. Perkins Jr. '31, and Donough Prince '31, and will be seated approximately as they have been rowing for the last three weeks.
At the beginning of the spring recess the first and second crews will entrain for Kent, Connecticut, the annual Spring training quarters for the vacation week, where they will prepare to race the first and second Kent crews.
1932 Squad to be Cut
The first five Freshman crews will have a series of short races this afternoon, after which the squad will be cut to three crews, from which the first and second crews will be picked after the Spring vacation.
The two Freshman crews which are cut following today's race will be broken up and the men put in their respective dormitory crews, of which there are at present nine.
