As a result of its victory over the Kappa Nu quintet last night at the Freshman Athletic Building, Falcon Club moved into a triple tie with Kappa Sigma and Sigma Alpha Mu for first place in the Inter-Fraternity Basketball League.
This was the last game scheduled for the teams in this league; but due to the tie there will have to be two more contests. This evening at 7.30 Kappa Sigma will meet Sigma Alpha Mu; and the winner will oppose Falcon Club tomorrow afternoon at a time to be announced later. The quintet capturing tomorrow's game will be awarded the fraternity title, and will play Gore Hall on Monday at 5 o'clock in the Freshman Athletic Building for the intramural championship.
In last night's encounter, Falcon Club got off to an early lead, which Kappa Nu could not overcome, despite some fine defensive basketball. The final score was 23 to 14.
