The Duncan Sisters' brief appearance is the high spot in this week's rather mediocre performance at the B. F. Keith Memorial Theatre. They please with several sparkling songs and a few clever imitations. As of previous years the well known pair runs away with the audience. Their skill is manifested not only through their voices but also by performances on the piano and guitar.
The remainder of the program includes the Theodore Bekefi Dancers in "The Life of the Dance." A large company supports Mr. Bekefi and Miss Robinson who are outstanding. Staer Kavanagh, Australian juggler, has little new to offer while Dooley and Morton, like their immediate predecessors, Ethel Davis and Mr. Norworth should stick to the field of musical comedy rather than venturing into that of vaudeville.
The screen presentation "The Crash" concerns the romance of a girl from a burlesque show and the boss of a wrecking crew. Their troubles and quarrels in a small town are extended to the utmost.
